Kendujhar is a city and a municipality in Kendujhar District in the Indian state of Odisha. It is the administrative headquarters of the Kendujhar district, and it is one of the 5th scheduled areas of Odisha.
There are 21 wards in the city, among them Kendujhar Ward No 09 is the most populous ward with a population of 4,184 and Kendujhar Ward No 03 is the least populous ward with a population of 1,676.

1. Sanaghagara Waterfall
Sanaghagara is an exotic eco-tourist spot, located only 5 kilometres from kendujhar town on the keonjhar to Sambalpur National Highway. Sana means small and “ghagra” means waterfall. Thousands of tourist from all over the India visit this spot every year for picnic and excursions. 2. Khandadhar Falls
Khandadhar Fall is located in Khandadhar hill.It is a nice waterfall.the side view is also mesmerising. Approximate distance between Keonjhar and Khandadhar Waterfall is 70 km.It takes 1 hours, 24 minutes to travel from Keonjhar to Khandadhar Waterfall. Travel time if the distance is covered by a car is 1 hour and 20 minutes.

3. Murga Mahadev Temple
Murga Mahadeva is dedicated to Lord Shiva.It is located in Nuamundi mines area under Champua subdivision of kendujhar district.Lakhs of devotees visit this place during the month of Shraavan, Kartik, and during Shivaratri.It is an ancient shrine where both tribal and Brahminical system of worship are followed. This place is best for natural lovers.
The spot is 70km From Keonjhar. Regular buses are available up to Beleipada (64km) from Keonjhar.The spot is 6 km from Bileipada,215 NH, No accommodation facilities are available at the spot.Tourist will have to stay either at Joda(11 km) or at Barbil (25 km) Train facilities is available at the spot. 4. Gonasikha Temple
Gonashika is surrounded by a series of valleys and wooded hills of varying colours, the place is famous as a centre of pilgrimage for the temple of Brahmeswar Mahadev established by the side of river Baitarani. In fact, this is the place from where the river starts flowing.A little away from the point of origin, the river goes underground and hence called Gupta Ganga only to be seen jumping after a short distance over a stone projection looking like the nostril of a cow. The scenic beauty of the place is simply charming. For accommodation, tourists will have to stay at Keonjhar town.It is 33 km. from Keonjhar out of which service buses are available for 24 km. for rest 9 km tourist will have to go by either foot or hired vehicles.
